The second edition of the tournament which is becoming popular saw participation of thirty engineering colleges from across Karnataka and University of Colombo.

Our chess team won third place at the South Zone chess competition held at Anna University. The chess wizards are Pavan Shiralagi, Naren Kumar, Akshay Bharatwaj, Anantharam, Yashskara, students of engineering program.

Budding cricketers in PES University were all excited at the inauguration of the PES Cricket Ground. INFINI 2017, the annual international sports fest of PES also got underway on the same day, 11th October. Dr. M. R. Doreswamy, Chancellor and Dr. K.N.B Murthy, Vice Chancellor graced the occasions.

PESU Cricket team wins the Vyooha 2017 organised by Surana college. Mithun Bhat, Department of BBA, 3rd year was declared the Player of the Tournament and Utpal Naadiger, Department of ECE, 2nd year was declared the Best Bowler.
